I’m Lynsey, an endearingly short (or this is what I like to call myself) wedding and portrait photographer recently relocated to the PNW. I love beautiful light, warm colors, movement, and emotion. My goal is to capture your unique love story through my lens, showing the connection you have together. I provide an engaging experience that is relaxed and fun, with candid moments inside of real emotion that will create timeless images. I may or may not have set a goal to make one of us snort with laughter during our time together, so come prepared. I feel so lucky every day that I have a career doing something that brings me joy and fulfills me in a way I never imagined. Let’s just count on me crying when you walk down the aisle and say your vows to one another, because I not only invest my time, but I also invest my heart into what I do and who I’m with. Also, please plan on a hug from me when your day is over and consider me a friend for life! I love when my couples come back time and again for me to document each new milestone they’re celebrating together. I travel several times per year for destination photography and am always up for an adventure and new experiences!
I’ve been happily married for almost 16 years to a good man who makes me laugh every day. It’s always been a goal of mine to live in Washington, and I often pinch myself to make sure I’m not dreaming that we’re now raising our four kids together right by the Puget Sound. It’s so gorgeous here! The green, the fog, the rain, the coast...it all makes me feel alive. We’re a military family who love to explore the outdoors as much as we love to stay in together for a movie night. You can often find us having kitchen dance parties, or heading to the nearest beach whenever we have a day off. Ice cream is my love language.
